ATLANTA, February 15th, 2021 /StudioCarlton/ — Studio Carlton, producers and developers in voice skill entertainment, launched Amazon Alexa’s feature to make it easier for users to find and enable their newest Alexa Skill, “Are You Psychic?”
Amazon Alexa uses machine learning to help customers automatically discover, enable, and launch skills using natural phrases and requests. This helps to remove the friction of users finding and launching Alexa Skills. When a customer speaks to Alexa without invoking a skill by name, Alexa chooses the best skill to call based on the machine-learning model.
Initially, users would have to manually enable Amazon Alexa Skills (alexa.amazon.com) from their web browser and click the yellow enable button. Once the skill is enabled, users would still have to ask Alexa, to open such-and-such skill. Enabling “Are You Psychic?” Alexa Skill is now a whole lot easier.
Studio Carlton developers implemented Amazon’s innovative feature to fulfill a users’ request for “Are You Psychic?” by saying specific key phrases or variations thereof associated with the skill such as,
- “Alexa, find me a psychic game!”
- “Alexa, is there a test for ESP?”
- “Alexa, how can I find out if I am intuitive?”
- “Alexa, how can I develop my psychic abilities?
- “Alexa, am I psychic?”
“We are always looking to improve user accessibility of our Alexa Skills that makes it convenient for users to simply query their Amazon Echo Devices to find one of our Alexa Skills,” says Victoria lynn Weston, President and Founder of Studio Carlton. “Implementing Amazon’s key feature enables us to capture an untapped audience of users that are interested in intuitive and psychic development, psychic games but don’t know the title of the skill.”
“There is a drawback however, there’s no guarantee Amazon will present Studio Carlton’s “Are You Psychic” Alexa Skill, to users who voice the skill’s key phrases, but it’s a risk worth taking. If 100 users query the related key phrases, and 90 users were presented with our skill, that’s a good thing,” says, Weston.
Users can open Studio Carlton’s “Are You Psychic” Alexa Skill by saying, “Alexa, open Are You Psychic?” Anytime thereafter, users simply launch the skill by saying, “open Zener Cards!”
In addition to voice searching Alexa skills, Amazon recently enabled Quick Links for users to click on the link to instantly enable the Alexa Skill or send a notification to their Amazon Echo Devices.
Zener Cards were originally devised in the 1930s by perceptual psychologist Karl Zener to conduct experiments for extrasensory perception (ESP) or clairvoyance with his colleague, parapsychologist J. B. Rhine. J.B. Rhine founded the Rhine Institute for academic research into the field of parapsychology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina at Duke University, North Carolina.
